High Strung Cabaret features the impeccable vocal
stylings of Denise Clemente and the innovative
marionettes of master puppeteer Anthony Rais. With the
backing of a live band and arrangements that can
accommodate anything from a small rhythm ensemble to a
large orchestra, High Strung Cabaret is an entertainment
delight, pleasing audiences both young and old.

Malachai
He is a one-of-a-kind marionette, highlighted by the
intricate manipulations of Anthony Rais as he winds
Malachai through various contortions, a balancing act of
grace and beauty whose lifelike features and movements
make you believe you are watching the real thing!

Totolino
The “boy clown,” a charming, little fellow who will tug
at your heart strings, Totolino is Rais’ featured
marionette, who gives evidence to the painstaking
attention to detail that Anthony relays through the
movements and expressions that is nothing short of
genius.

Fanny Feathers
This harmless, but fowl-mouthed ostrich is a birdbrain
who delivers the laughs with her outspoken jibes and
playful quips as she and Denise tickle your funny-bone
with their whimsical song and dance routine.

Simone
The sophisticated Simone is our featured “showgirl,”
festooned in a dazzling display of crystal, sequins, and
feathers, who transforms before your eyes into her
alter-ego, as Denise takes the stage for our opening
number.

Sweetie
This adorable, little doggie makes her entrance in our
tribute to “Toy Story,” as she and Denise pair off in
our take of “Man’s best friend.” |

the imagination, as she takes it all off- she’s bad to
the bone!

The “Cast” of Characters
Denise impersonates Shania Twain, Tina Turner & Bette
Midler, and Bette is then joined by Anthony as Siegfried
in a hilarious satire on a Broadway classic from the
show, “The Producers.” Complete with costume changes and
props, these characters enthrall the audience and draw
them into a world of music and laughter. |
